Specifically crafted for self-defense applications, the Smith and Wesson SD9 FDE 9mm full-sized 16-round pistol features a polymer frame with a stainless-steel slide and barrel. It is equipped with fixed white-dot sights and a Picatinny-style accessory rail. It is outfitted with the SDT, a trigger uniquely designed for self defense.

The striker-fired SD9 now comes in Flat Dark Earth. The SD9 is a direct evolution of the Smith and Wesson SD, and its overall design has an improved self-defense trigger and a comfortable ergonomic FDE textured grip. The SD9 also features an improved stainless steel barrel and slide which were not standard on the original SD.

The polymer frame supports lightweight carry while the stainless steel slide and barrel provide extended life. Fixed white dot sights enable quick target acquisition, and the SDT Self Defense Trigger delivers optimal consistent pull from the first round to the last. An ergonomic textured grip with finger locator ensures a confident hold, and two magazines ship with the pistol.
